The tool box, made from high-quality ABS plastic and using an injection molding process, is easily attached to the top flange and can be attached very quickly and easily thanks to the included mounting material. Finally, no more messy and poorly closing tool compartment from the hobby 3D printer on your Simson!
The Simson tool box is attached in the gap between the heart box and the pillion strut and, thanks to the easy-open drawer, offers approx. 1 liter of extra storage space for a small bottle of mixing oil, your spare spark plug, various tools or other equipment that should not be missing on your next trip. This means the heart box is tidy again, kinked cables, short circuits caused by loose tools or equipment falling out are a thing of the past. Also ideal for longer trips.
With the two included keys, you easily lock the Simson tool compartment and keep the spare key at home for emergencies. What are you waiting for? Advantages of the Simson tool box:
Easy to assemble: Thanks to the included assembly material, the tool box can be attached directly without having to spend a long time looking for the right screws.
Extra storage space: Our Simson tool compartment gives you around 1 liter of extra storage space for tools, mixing oil, gloves, etc. This means that the heart box is in order again.
Sensible storage: the drawer for your Simson is attached under the seat and is protected from rainwater and splash water.
Premium design: The tool box made of ABS plastic impresses with its clean workmanship. The drawer is easy to open and close and its clean look makes it an even better match for your Simson.
Lockable: Our tool compartment comes with 2 keys. You can lock the toolbox when you are on the go and your tools are well protected from thieves.
Assembly instructions for the Simson tool compartment:
Tools required:
Flathead screwdriver
Phillips screwdriver
20mm open-end wrench
10mm open-end wrench or socket with ratchet
8mm open-end wrench or socket with ratchet
The tool compartment is located under the seat on your Simson. All you have to do is loosen 3 screws.
Remove the two hexagon screws on the rear of your Simson (10mm open-end wrench)
Slightly loosen the slotted screw underneath the seat (flathead screwdriver)
Remove the seat and put it to one side
Place the Simson tool compartment (holder body) between the upper strap, push the holder into position and tighten the self-locking nuts with the open-end wrench (8mm wrench size). Here, around 5-6Nm of torque is sufficient to avoid damaging the plastic!
Insert the tool box once and open and close it a few times to ensure a good fit.
The seat is installed in reverse order.
We recommend using screw lock to attach the lock.
Fits: S50, S51, S70
